After touring with last year's disappointing
Lollapalooza, Southern California Heavies Korn
have decided to launch "Family Values," their
very own traveling festival. No headliners are
yet confirmed for the inaugural run this summer,
but Korn's wish list includes the Deftones, Limp
Bizkit, and Helmet. "We're going to cash in on
the hard music major-label execs think doesn't
sell," says vocalist Jonathan Davis, adding that
Korn recently started a hard-rock record label
named Elementree. But the band is most concerned
with finishing their third album, which is set
for a spring release. "It's groovier and harder
and I sing a lot more," says Davis "We're now in
a position to make something we're really proud
of."
